Hi there!

The Jos Food Festival is the brainchild of Chef Elvis, born out of a passion to celebrate Plateau State’s rich cultural and agricultural heritage. More than just a culinary event, the festival serves as a vibrant gathering designed to bring together diverse communities —across ethnic and religious lines—to connect, share stories, and support the next generation of food entrepreneurs. It’s a feast of flavors, unity, and opportunity

The Jos Food Festival began in 2019 with its inaugural event, "Shawarmarathon," attracting over 3,000 attendees. It provided a platform for food lovers to connect, showcase their passion, and sample a variety of delicious offerings, setting a vibrant tone for the festival's future.

This was followed by the December 2021 edition, held at Odilins Event Center. This gathering drew a wide range of sponsors, food vendors, culinary enthusiasts, and families eager to enjoy a memorable food experience and celebrate the end of the year together

In 2022, the festival expanded into a bi-annual celebration, hosting successful editions in July and December. Supported by headline sponsors such as NASCO, PSDDA, Akaani, Fusion, Valgee Transport, Bricks and Roses, and other esteemed brands, the festival gained further momentum and recognition
